Food law has undergone significant changes in recent years, mainly because of the European Union’s involvement in this issue. The complicated regulation now puts high demands on food business operators. Based on our experience, we can say that especially small and medium-sized enterprises are often unable to navigate their way safely in a large number of different regulations and thus comply with all legal requirements. Many of them can only learn about their obligations after they were inspected by the supervisory authorities, i.e. due to shortcomings detected. Our law firm focuses on early prevention to minimize the risks of breaching any obligations in relation to food products.
